The Wind Beneath My Wings and What I Achieved With Your Help

Merry Christmas for blog

I was always an avid reader and the blog is my door to the world. I launched it in September this year, after my husband published his latest book. While I was doing some publicity for him I thought it might not be such a bad idea to start a blog and help other independent writers promote their books. I know that my posts aren’t perfect and my English is not very good, but I hope that readers will remember the books and the writers and not my spelling mistakes. I like to talk, I like to be sociable and the blog gives me a chance to do this. I have come across some wonderful writers from around the world and when they tell me that their sales improved or they’ve been contacted by a magazine, a radio station or a bookseller, this keeps me going; it gives me the sense of a job well done.

I am a beginner in book marketing and advertising. Although I studied marketing as part of my university degree, what I am doing now is a new subject for me. Along the way I have learned a lot of things, and am still learning; I am far from being an expert.

This is the last post of this year and I want to say a big Thank You to each and every one of you for giving me the chance to do what I enjoy, for your trust and friendship, for your support.

Patrick Brigham – my husband who is fed -up with me spending so much time on the computer, for his support by cooking the lunch when I was too busy and make me want to be the best version of me

Roy Dimond – who kept me going when I was close to give-up and doing more publicity for me than I’ve done for him

Sharon Kay Roberts  – the very first collaborator, the one who told me that  ” if someone is good enough to be  employed then is good enough to be paid. ”

The books which I came across with since I launched the blog:
